National Happy Hour September 29 offering totally free Budweiser beer

Sept 29 is when you can acquire totally free Budweiser beer for National Happy Hour

Adolphus Bush launched in 1876 the Budweiser “Bohemian-style” pale lager which right away was a success. In 2008, reports the St. Louis Business Journal, a 50.9 percent share of the market for all beers sold within the United States has held by the Busch family corporation Anheuser-Busch. Anheuser-Busch sold most of its stock later that year. It was bought by InBev, the Belgian-Brazilian beer magnate. . Based on St. Louis Today, Sept 29 is National Happy Hour, and free of charge Budweiser could be given out by Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Advertising means giving out free Budweiser

Participating bars and restaurants could be supplying about 500,000 free of charge Budweiser beer samples. These will come, based on local and state rules, in 6- and 12-ounce sample sizes. The share of the market for Budweiser dropped from 26 percent in 1988 to 9.3 percent which is why the “Grab some Buds” marketing campaign will go from Sept 25 via October 3. Drinkers in their mid-20s are the corporation’s primary target, as market studies have found that approximately 40 percent of beer drinkers aged 21 to 27 have never even touched de Koning van Bieren.

Anheuser-Busch InBev President Dave Peacock said, “We want to close that gap,” to St. Louis Today.

Texas has deep fried beer

If you are of drinking age and happen to make it to the 2010 Texas State Fair, find Mark Zable. He makes deep-fried beer which complements the de Koning van Bieren beers with it. Salty pretzel dough pockets are filled with beer, then dunked in 375-degree oil for 20 seconds. The dough could be cooked enough after that time. Of course, the alcohol won’t be burned off though. The public really enjoys the treat, reports the London Telegraph. This is why Zable hopes the cooking process can be patented really soon.

For the record, Mark Zable uses Guinness. That means no Koning van Bieren.
